129 - Relationship Map manual-layout ordering is lost after reopening the map

After a user switches a Relationship Map to manual layout mode and rearranges cards, the manual ordering is not reliably preserved — on re-open, cards and/or groups appear jumbled back to what looks like the auto-layout arrangement.
